The project is a joint oil refining and petrochemical venture between two major industry leaders based in Saudi Arabia. To help grow the organization's petrochemicals operations, a partnership was formed with a global chemical company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, to create a new petrochemical complex in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia – the very first venture into the new petrochemical sector by the organization.
