Client overview

The Client is is Saudi Arabia’s key financial enabler for industrial growth, offering long-term loans and advisory services to manufacturing ventures. It plays a strategic role in realizing Vision 2030 by supporting industrial innovation through financial aid, consultancy, and digital modernization of its internal and external processes.

Solution offered

The P2P renewal engagement was initiated to address inefficiencies in managing procurement committees, RFP processes, contract approvals, and digital compliance. The existing manual procedures were prone to delays, lacked integration with national systems like Etimad, and did not support full automation or governance transparency.

Premier, already an incumbent with the client, leveraged its deep understanding of the client’s ecosystem to implement an upgraded SAP P2P system using a Time & Material model. The approach combined SAP MM, Fiori-based UX, Angular, and Node.js development to build interfaces that reflect best practices from global public sector digitization programs. Premier also ensured seamless integration with systems such as SAP Financials, FileNet, and Active Directory using secure APIs and Swagger documentation.

The Hybrid Agile model ensured rapid delivery and flexibility. Key solutions included automated contract workflows, procurement committee digitalization, defect management tools, multilingual support (Arabic/English), and secure authentication layers like SSO and MFA.

Post-implementation, the client witnessed improved traceability, streamlined tender evaluations, real-time document management, and higher productivity of support teams. Continuous training and expert consultation were provided to sustain and evolve the solution as per business demands.

Business challenges

  • Manual contract preparation and approvals lacked visibility, creating risks in compliance and legal alignment with Etimad and internal policies.

  • Non-standardized user experiences reduced system usability and caused frequent support requests, especially across different departments.

  • Limited integration across internal platforms restricted access to real-time data, delaying approvals and asset tracking.

Business outcomes

  • Standardized digital committee workflows enhanced compliance, visibility, and traceability across procurement lifecycle stages and committee types.

  • Automated contract generation reduced turnaround time and human errors by integrating approval flows and digital signatures.

  • Centralized document and file management integrated with SAP Financials streamlined asset and service delivery validation processes.
